Nauseous from chewable vitamins

I've been extremely nauseous after taking chewable MVI as well as the calcium and vitD3. Anyone have this issue and any advice. I've tried taking them on empty stomach, during meal and after meal.

Find a different vitamin. All you need is a good high quality one, it doesn't have to be a chewable.

I HIGHLY recommend the PatchMD Vitamin Patches. Some of mine did the same and then I never wanted to take them. There's none of that with the patches because it bypasses your digestive system.

Are you far enough out from surgery to take the swallow ones?

The can you take like half doses and work your way up? The vitamins can cause discomfort. For the first little bit I took my Pepcid after my multivitamin and that helped.

Good luck!

I'm not far enough along to take the oral vitamins. My B but is a nasal spray but I am going to check with my doc about the patches. Thanks everyone!

I had the same issue for a while... The one time I threw up was bc of chewable vitamins. I used the Welless brand of liquids. Some Walmarts carry them but I ordered them in the Bari store here. Good luck.

I take the Celebrate brand of all my chewable vitamins, except iron. I could not tolerate the iron - extreme nausea. I went to the Patch MD iron patches - so far so good.

I got all of my
Celebrate vitamins at Amazon and the patches right here at BariatricPal.com.

I recommend trying Celebrate.
