13 days post op

Hi! I was sleeved on 1/16. I'm still on the full liquid high Protein diet. I see the surgeon on 2/3 for my 2 week post op appointment. I can't stand having anymore broth, Jello, etc. I want food!!! Any similar scenarios out there? I was thinking like some mash potatoes or something like that. I'm just so tired and I feel a bit restricted. This is so hard!

I am sure that your surgeon will give you a meal plan to follow (or the NUT in your team) or at least they should do. Being so tired is awful, I remember it so well, so have sympathy with you!

My own personal view is that mashed potatoes are not the best thingto eat at this stage (17 months out I still don't eat potatoes). You need protein first, to help you heal and fill you up. Things such as greek yogurt, soft scambled eggs, soups blended with protein, protein shakes, protein puddings etc. However its best to follow your surgeons plan.

Congratulations on the surgery!
