High blood pressure after surgery

I've only had high blood pressure couple times since I started my weight loss program back in July. Now they have me on blood pressure medicine. Since I haven't had problems before it should just be from the pain right? It has me very nervous.

I had high bp a couple times in hospital and I was medicated for it as well lol...

you body has been through a traumatic event and it's one way it shows.

Don't worry about it tbh. ( well try not too)

5 weeks post op I came off one of my meds and they halved another.

That high bp you are taking of is temp

I think I may have misread your post..

What pain are you talking of?... I'm a little confused

Pain can and does cause high bp. If they brought your pain down, your bp should drop if that is the cause.
