Scale says I've lost weight but...

Between pre-op loss of 30 and 4 week post-rny loss of 15 lbs, I'm down a couple of pant sizes & I feel healthier. When I look in the mirror, I kind of see a difference but I do not really see a difference (not sure if that makes sense). When people compliment me, I think they are just trying to be nice because they know I had wls. Has anyone had a hard time accepting that the weight loss is actually a reality?

I have! People call me tiny now! What??? That's crazy to me. I don't feel big and I was worried that I would see myself as that big girl still. But, when I try on clothes, they do not lie. I'm sure you can tell the difference! Let yourself relish in it! Take measurments and photos along the way! They really show the difference! Way to go! Your doing great! :)

Thank you! I realized it's gonna take some time to accept a new smaller me after an entire life of seeing my larger self.
