Staples

Hey! I am wondering if anyone else was sent home with staples still in their incisions. If so, when are they removed?

5 days post op and don't meet back with my surgeon until 9 days post op

    I did. Were removed about 2 weeks later, but if they start getting red and angry like this picture, get them out right away.post-300502-0-15084200-1485116348_thumb.jpg

    This was right after I had them removed. I developed what is called contact dermatitis. I was told by my doctor that I should have called as soon as they started looking angry like that
