My dr put me on that and Prilosec for stomach ulcers.....she wants them resolved before she'll schedule my sleeve surgery. I'm taking Carafate 4x/day and Prilosec 2x/day.....Hopefully, the combination will heal the ulcers and I can get a date!

I now just take as needed. Just don't take when you take your other meds. Give it an hour or so.

I took it post op to clear up esophagus ulcers and now post op for ulcer on esophagus and stomach. It works well but is very binding.
