  1.    themaestroswife reacted to a post in a topic: Older people doing gastric sleeve
  2. I take it all the time and I love it! It saved my life!
  3. I had mine at 59 and I am doing good. While the young girls went shopping afterwards I rested. It did me a world of good. The best thing to do is walk as much as you can when you wake up from surgery. It will help alleviate the gas in your stomach!
  4. Helena I meant to say caused the problem but auto fill got me!
  5. Helena I also was hospitalized for severe dehydration and spent almost a month there with part of it in intensive care. I couldn't eat or drink which of course caused the p obelisk. My doctors prescribed Protonix and Sucralfate for the acid and stomach. They are a Godsend! Regular acid blockers didn't work for me and believe me I tried them all. I am able to eat anything except milk and sugar products as they make me nauseous. Now I don't regret having the sleeve!
