  13. I did go and get iv fluids but I was not admitted. I should've clarified. She said she'd like to admit me but was satisfied with me getting the fluids.

  15. I lost 22 in 14 days but I've been losing very slowly after surgery. Mine was all liquid though. It was rough. 11 is great! 11 less pounds you have to lose after!
  16. I was sleeved 1/17/17. I'm having regrets. I can relate to what everyone is saying on here. I can't get my liquids in, I feel like crap. My Vitamins are making me sick. I can finally eat a small amount of shredded food like turkey or cheese etc... I have been to see nut and surgeon who wanted to rehospitalize me for dehydration. Told me to stop exercising for now and eat low calorie carbs. I'm probably only getting in 400 calories a day. I am drinking blended Protein powder and Trop 50 oj with ice as suggested by nut but I hate it. I felt like once the initial healing period was over I'd have more energy etc... I'm worse now than ever. I'm losing weight very slowly. I'm really trying to tell myself this is all temporary.
  17. I'm in my third week and on pureed food. I had/have all of these same symptoms. I had the chest pain too. It did stop eventually. I'd get up and walk around my house every time I got them. It helped a little. I myself and having trouble getting my food down. I hope it gets better. Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App

  20. I am having similar issues. Sleeved 1/17. I hate the isopure but it's really all I can get down. Did you try the little propel packets in your Water? Or even crystal light? Also my nausea is better when I eat "real food". I had a very scrambled egg and some fat free yogurt (not together) and I felt better. Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App

  25. Pstart: have you tried unjury, or genpro unflavored protien???? It can be mixed with anything, and no taste. Its very important that you get your Protein and Water in. Thats most important at this point. Try chicken broth, how about tea, non caffinated. Lots of times you need to also experiment with tempatures. You dont want to get dehydrated, thats dangerous. Small sips constantly. Good luck Sent from my SM-N920P using the BariatricPal App Thank you. I'm ok with warm herbal tea. I have trouble with plain water any temp. I've tried the Protein powder some with minimal success. I think dehydration is my biggest problem. I appreciate the support and advice. I'm really struggling. 26. Thank you! I think I'm dehydrated. Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App
  27. Thank you. I think you're both right. I do think I'm dehydrated. I'm trying to get fluids in. Thanks for the news about the spasms. That's what it feels like. I'm also feeling pressure from my family to be up and "normal" again. It's messing with my head. Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App
  28. I LOVE carafate. I took it pre op as well for stomach acid issues. It literally changed my life. Mine says 4 xs a day before meals and a bedtime. I now just take as needed. Just don't take when you take your other meds. Give it an hour or so. Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App
  29. Wow. I'm also 8 days out. I'm having a much different experience. I'm so tired and feel flu like. I'm having trouble getting my liquids down. Any advice you can offer? Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App
  30. I was sleeved 8 days ago. I'm trying to figure out if what I'm feeling is normal post surgery or I need to see the doc. I have been feeling really lousy. I have headaches of course stomach aches and I am very lethargic and sleepy. I'm supposed to be on full liquids but I'm struggling to get things down. I'm getting severe chest pains when I swallow anything. I think I may be swallowing too big/fast. I'm forcing myself to drink even though it hurts. I'm also forcing myself to walk 15 mins a day. I'm not losing a lot of weight. I think my body is on starvation mode. Can anyone help? Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App
  31. I am 4 days post op and I also get these chest pains. It's worse when lying down. My surgeons seem to think it's gas or reflux and have give me anti refux meds. It scares me though because you immediately think something is squeezing your heart. Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App
  32. I was sleeved on Jan. 17. I had a rough time recovering in the hospital including an extra night stay. I was sent home after being able to keep down liquid pain meds and some Water. I'm really struggling to drink the water. I'm nauseous and I have major food aversions. The thought of eating or drinking makes me physically ill. I have probably had 64 oz of water since Monday. It's now Friday. How do I get this water down. It just and makes me sick. Ps. My surgeon said my surgery went very well and was easy breezy because I did so well on my 2 week pre op diet. 33. I cheated too. My surgery is in 6 days. I've been so good. Starving, miserable and definitely detoxing. I've lost 14 pounds in 7 days. Tonight I took a bite of my son's spring roll. I immediately regretted it and I also immediately felt very, very sick. The guilt is overwhelming me. Also reflux is overwhelming me too. Sent from my SM-N910V using the BariatricPal App
