Protein Supplements

Can anyone recommend any good (and fairly inexpensive) powdered ones? I don't want to buy a zillion flavors to find one that I like. I would like a good, high quality, high Protein and great tasting to boot!

TIA!!

I use unjury. I buy the unflavored and mix it with anything. It has 20g of protein in a serving. I also use Perfectly Protein, which I found at Sam's club. It is also in the organic part of a regular store. I have tried the vanilla Chai Tea, and the coffee. They have 10g of protein in a 8oz glass. So I use the Perfectley protein which is a liquid and use a scoop of the Unjury and shake it up together and I have 30g of protein. I use it in the mornings because It is harder for me to eat anything until later in the day. Also I know that I have at least 30gs of what the dr wants me to have. At least 50 or 60 a day.

You can get on Unjury.com and look at the different types of protein powders that they have. Good luck. I also use the Snickers Engergy bars.. They have 17g of Protein..but Higher in Suger but I am still losing weight, so they aren't hurting me that much. LOL

I go to GNC and buy the ANYWHEY, it's unflavored, and not that expensive compared to others. It's virtually tasteless so I mix it with a lot of different things, and it has 17 grams of protein per serving. It's made by optimum nutrition.

I need something different...Atkins shakes aren't doing it for me anymore. I want something that has like 30-40 grams of protein in ONE drink...LOL And of course, something I don't mind the taste of!

Noooooo, you don't want that much protein in one sitting. Your body can't absorb that much at a time. What you don't use you either have to burn or it turns to fat.

No more than 25gms, 30gms tops at a time and 4 hours or so inbetween protein servings. It really does become wasted money.

Have you tried Da Vinci S/F syrups to change the flavor a bit? My fav is chocolate with Raspberry flavoring. MMMmmmmmmm

I had such a hard time finding a protein supplement that I actually liked and didn't leave an aftertaste. I LOVE Worldwide Pure Protein Shakes in Frosted Chocolate and Cookies'n Cream. They come premade in soda can form. They have 35 grams of protein. I would buy them at GNC to see if you like them (in the cooler). If you do, they are cheaper online at the Worldwide website. I also like Matrix 5.0 Cookies and Cream, but it is too sweet for me to use everyday. Hope this helps! Good Luck!
