Do you have peppermint essential oils or peppermint extract? Even smelling peppermint will help with nausea. I had terrible nausea and that got me through. Good luck and hope it gets better soon.

Sorry to hear you're sick! My surgery was last Friday and never once felt that way. Call your surgeon or their assistant for advice.

Hope you feel better!

Did your surgeon give you a script for anti nausea meds? If not, call and ask for one. You need to be able to sip water.

I had it severely in the hospital and just nausea when I got home. I received zofran in the hospital every opportunity they could give it to me and it seemed it didn't work. When I moved I dry heaved. After my leak test they gave me something for pain and it helped with dry heaves.

For me a cold cloth on my forehead or neck along with nausea meds I put under my tongue helped at home.

I'm two days out from my sleeve, and for those first two days I had horrible dry heaving. :( The Doctor said some of it might have been from drinking too fast, but either way, between the nausea medicine and the third day, it seems to have stopped completely, thank goodness.

I hope that yours stop soon!! <3
