  • I did basically the same thing but made homemade chicken broth in the crockpot then strained it. So tasty and felt like I was eating real food! Sent from my iPhone

It is tough until you can get on solid food and truly taste it. For me the best thing that I did was to go to Safeway and ladle out the broth from their chunky chicken noodle soup and put it in a travel coffee mug. I just looked like your average everyday coffee freak. It was savory and seemed like substance.
