The before.

Here's my "before" photo. I'm 428 lbs. Starting my pre-op diet. I'm giving up Coca-cola, smoking and most carbs. Trying to lose 25-40lbs before surgery. Hopefully January 13th during my next appointment we will schedule surgery.

Picture in comments below.

Best of luck to you! A girl in my surgery group started at 446. She just had her 1 year anniversary about a month ago, and a couple of weeks ago (just past her 1 year mark) she was down to 223, exactly 1/2 of her previous weight. She's doing great, and you can too!

My surgery is in 8 days. I started my preop liver shrink diet Monday, and I took before pics. I plan to also take them the day of surgery and every month thereafter in the same clothing.

Thanks. Yeah I'm taking pics once a week now so I can create a flip book when I'm all done. I'm excited. Good luck!

Good luck to you too. A flip book is a great idea.

Good luck to you. You're already on the right track. Giving up the things you have and training yourself to eat healthier before surgery only makes it easier after surgery. I was 341 at first consult and had lost 45lbs before surgery. You'll be able to too! Best of luck to you????
