December 1, 20169 yr How often do you have bowel movements?? I used to go everyday before surgery and now it's like every 3 days? What's the new normal for us??
December 1, 20169 yr Author Really? Wow... That seems like such a long time... Idk how my mind is going to adjust to my new body lol Sent from my XT1650 using the BariatricPal App
December 1, 20169 yr It is actually really nice. The only thing is that a bit of fiber makes it easier to go when it is time to go. I found that eating chili from Wendy's is a great lunch for 2 days so I buy it twice a week and it is all of the fiber that I need.
December 1, 20169 yr Author And your stools aren't hard? I love the chili from Wendy's too... It's great protein! Sent from my XT1650 using the BariatricPal App
December 1, 20169 yr Early on it was every 3 or 4 days, I won't let it go longer than that. Now at almost 1.5 years it is every or every other day, depending on how much fluids I get in.

December 1, 20169 yr Every 4-6 days. Not constipated, it's just such a way smaller amount of food that it has a longer travel time. I rarely had gas before and now I go days without farting.
December 1, 20169 yr If you want to be more regular try probiotics. The live kind that is encapsulated so they can survive your stomach acids.
December 1, 20169 yr A lot of the replies in here confuse me because I'm about 2 weeks out and it's every other day, pretty much; I'm extremely regular, now...I don't eat much, and I don't "put out" much, but it definitely happens frequently! It probably depends on the specific person. Also, maybe, how active you are? Activity can help move it faster through your system, if you know what I mean. I definitely am more likely to ahem the day after I get my steps in!
December 1, 20169 yr I'm 3 weeks out and I'm pretty regular as well, I don't put out much but I do go basically daily Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
December 1, 20169 yr 3-5 days for me too (unless a food doesn't agree with me lol) This. Unless I have something HIIIIGH in sugar and then about a half hour after I ate that.
