I am a week post op today, I am always hungry. I feel like I'm starving, my tummy grumbles so hard and I dream of eating. I was not a food addict per se before the surgery. Mainly just ate large portions because of always being hungry. I wasn't really expecting this hunger pangs. The Protein shakes do fill me up (I'm drinking almost 2 per day) and 32 oz Water and Gatorade per day. But I am ravenous, I feel like I haven't eaten in forever. I had a one week preop full liquid and have my second post op full liquid week to go. I've tried cream Soups, cream of wheat and drinkable yogurt. Is this normal? Why am I so hungry? Any pointers on how to combat this? Thank you!
