Soft cooked scrambled eggs, high Protein yogurt, chunkier home made chicken or vegitable Soups mushed up really well, protein puddings, Weetabix, porridge, Ready Brek with plenty of skimmed or semi-skimmed milk add Protein powder if you can, finely minced or pureed chicken or turkey in gravy, pureed fish in a thin sauce, light and smooth low-fat and low-sugar mousse made with milk - add protein powder if you can, very gently cooked and soft plain omelette, poached egg or a soft-boiled one, soft Beans, lentils and peas, pureed or mashed for a little texture, pureed avocado, small portions of home-cooked or ready-prepared and pureed main dishes like cottage pie, shepherd’s pie, fish pie, fish-in-sauce, mild chilli con carne.

Congrats on the surgery!

Did your team not give you foods to have in each stage?

oh, I never followed a breakfast, lunch and dinner thing. I just ate what I fancied when I fancied it.

Hope you have some more suggestions.

Thanks, Kate! Does the avocado have to be puréed? I love avocados and was planning on adding them to my meal plan but not puréed, I'd make sure they were chewed well.

Suzzzzz- I've been doing the Protein shake for lunch, just seems like an easy choice. One soft boiled egg for breakfast, followed by the horse Vitamins, lol.

I mashed a soft avocado with a fork and it was ok to consume. Are you required to take those vitamins? I take Nature's Way Alive for women gummies. They are approved by my surgeon and taste good.

Whatever you mash, remember to chew, chew, chew. I was once told that digestion starts in the mouth :)

Breakfast - Oikos Triple Zero Yogurt (any flavor) 15g of Protein

lunch - 1/2c tuna salad 19g protein

Snack- 1/2 c Cottage Cheese 11g protein

dinner - 4oz baked Cod 20g protein
