Worried?

I'm 5 days post-op had my surgery in Tijuana Mexico. My friend that went with me had her surgery right after mine just called me and said that she's in the hospital with a severe infection, that if I feel any pain or have a fever to go to the hospital right away. I do have some pain but I don't know if it's just normal pain because I'm only 5 days POST-OP. Not sure if I should just monitor my temperature and watch for a fever. Any thoughts?

Monitor your temp, take your heart rate, inspect your incision to insure they are healing well. Or go to your doctor here and tell them what happened to your friend and see if they can run a sepsis blood test or something. But your temp and blood pressure will tell a lot.
