No protein

I am 1 week post op. Feel good. Almost no pain. Almost fine. Tons of energy. and happily living on Vitamin Water zero, homemade chicken stock and Jello. Not interested in food. No cravings. But I am worried about nutrition. I am vegetarian and didn't eat meat before and my Protein intake has always been low. Suggestions?

Put your canines to good use. B)

Once you are at the puree stage - refried beans are delicious! You probably still need to supplement for a while though. I bought Genepro Unflavored Protein powder and have added to puree butternut squash and sugar free pudding. You can add it to anything.

I have heard unflavoured Protein...still has flavour...I tried to order a few on amazon but I am in Canada and delivery wasn't an option. I can try my local GNC when I go out.

Genepro sold at gnc and amazon is really good in hot beverages, soups it will turn clear liquids kinda milky but to me there is hardly any taste. Never tried it in straight water though. Keep hot liquids unDer 140degrees Fahrenheit
