Vegetables Post-op?

Hello everyone!

I'm 4 week post-op today. My surgeon approved me on the 17th to start trying new foods and adding them into my diet. He recommended that I try one new food a day. While I am taking it quite slow (I had a set back last weekend with getting sick from eating), I am curious on when is a generally safe time to start trying vegetables?

I've been craving making a stir fry and am just waiting patiently until I can!

After my RNY gastric bypass surgery, I was on full liquids for the first 4 weeks, pureed foods for the next 4 weeks and finally in week 9 I was approved for solid foods. It is difficult to transition to solid foods so there is no need to rush.
