I had the surgery on the 13th and haven't had a bowel movement what can I use to get it going?

    Milk of magnesia will help you. (And you'll probably just need a sip or two -- not the entire regular dose. Trust me!)

    This isn't abnormal at all. Are you still taking pain medication? How much are you walking? It really helps! Also, Miralax works well to help her things going.

    I'm not on pain meds haven't been since the day after surgery. I walk half hr to hr a day
