Extreme threat pain

I'm 16 days post op and have been having extreme pain in my throat.. the pain is so bad that I cannot even sleep or drink Water.. medications are also not helping.. did anyone have this ??

      I would definitely call your surgeon ASAP. You don't want to end up dehydrated. It may not be related to surgery but they can guide you.

    I had some throat pain the first couple of days post-op, but it went away pretty quickly. I'd ask your surgeon's staff about the pain if it is still bothering you at this point.

    I've had surgery to remove cancer, and had a tube in my throat during surgery. My throat ached for a few days after that. Maybe that?
