There are so many Protein drinks out there I have no idea what I should get. Surgery date October 24 and trying to prepare

Premiere protein shakes are good. Available in BJs, costco, sams, walgreens, walmart

Premier was good, liked the vanilla over the chocolate.

I have tried many... Premier Protein has been the overall winner! chocolate and Vanilla are my go-to flavors. I have tried others but they just aren't as yummy!

BariatricChoice website has some good fruit concentrate that is really good and a change from the shakes. Premier is good but so are the ones from GNC. There is another Proteinex that is good. I mix with Water and propel or Gatorade to change up the taste.

I liked the SlimFast Advanced Nutrition shakes (their newest formula) the best. They still weren't great, but good enough to drink anyway. You can also use Protein bars if you tire of shakes. Just avoid anything with too much sugar - more than a few grams.

I too enjoy the premier Protein drinks. chocolate, Vanilla, Caramel and sometimes bananna. I did not like the strawberries and cream one.

I am just a week post op but I got GENEPRO from GNC. You put a tbls in any liquid and it doesn't change the taste.

I've been drinking strawberry muscle milk for my pre op. It isn't half bad. Those and the s'mores pure Protein bars

See what your nutritionist reccomends. Mine says look for drinks 100-200 calories max, 5 or less grams of sugar, carbs, and fat, and use products that are made with whey Protein isolate. Premier shakes are very popular, but they do not contain whey protein isolate. I just tried Isopure Alpine Punch, and that was pretty good.
