  • You can nap, read, color, take a walk, catch up on your favorite shows, watch some movies, etc. Unfortunately - I'm really good at being lazy!

Clean out drawers, put a chair in your closet and make a Goodwill pile. Go slowly in the store and read labels, make a notebook of Bariatric recipes and good foods, get a monthly calendar and keep track of your eating plans and weight. Keep busy with all those things you never have time for!

Meals should be stretched out to 30 minutes as much as possible. I know I used to eat in much less time prior to surgery so I didn't gain any from eating.
