I was sleeved 2/29/16 and was excited but extremely anxious about my surgeon appt as well.

Everyone is different but for me VSG surgery was life changing.

It gave me my life back, I am no longer bound by my weight or health issues and I no longer avoid the mirror or cameras.

Shopping is now fun and extremely addictive lol I've also noticed that people treat you differently, they are much more willing to help now, especially men hahaha

My relationship with my family, specifically my husband is better then ever, he actually just told me he is falling in love with me all over again and after 25 years of marriage, that's music to my ears

I am just shy of a 100 pound weight loss and this has given me a new lease on life. I am doing things I never imagined I would, such as riding with my husband on the back of his Harley Davidson and absolutely loving it !!!

I am exercising and enjoying it, my energy level is thru the roof. I am much more social, I now love meeting and talking with new people.

These are just a few of my changes and I'm sure you will have a long laundry list of your own post op. Take lots of progress pics a long the way and good luck on your journey hang on and enjoy the ride !!
