Pain!

OK so I am 2 weeks post op and into my broths, water and shakes. My issue is that when I'm drinking my broth there comes a point where I have to stop because the area that creases when you sit above my belly becomes so painful. Like it gets stuck there and then releases into my stomach. At night when I'm sleeping the same issue happens and I'm not sure if it's just acid reflux or what. If I burp it relieves it, or if I take a pepcid and barely helps. Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong? PLEASE HELP!!!

I'm 17 days post op and I posted a thread asking this very question. In just the past couple days it has gotten A LOT better.

That's awesome! Did you change or do anything differently?

I haven't done anything different. I think it's just the further from the surgery the more things are healing. I'm finding every couple of days things have progressed/changed drastically from the days prior.

Omeprazole is usually prescribed for the acid problems. We all have little issues like this. Walking a bit might help. Good luck!
