  4. Omg same here! But trust me breaking even a little bit of it for a small taste is totally not worth the pain you'll endure. Trust me! You can do it!! Sent from my SM-T377T using the BariatricPal App
  5. OK so I am 2 weeks post op and into my broths, water and shakes. My issue is that when I'm drinking my broth there comes a point where I have to stop because the area that creases when you sit above my belly becomes so painful. Like it gets stuck there and then releases into my stomach. At night when I'm sleeping the same issue happens and I'm not sure if it's just acid reflux or what. If I burp it relieves it, or if I take a pepcid and barely helps. Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong? PLEASE HELP!!!

  7. Good Afternoon, So with my surgery date coming up on August 30th, I wanted to ask about how you looked after surgery. See with me I have always been told that i am very proportional for my size. I have the nice size breast and a nice behind...that i am a pretty "thick boned girl." Family and friends have also said that they cannot see me being any smaller and that i may not look right. I just want to know if anyone else has gotten that and did you prove them wrong once the weight was lost? I know for a fact i will have sagging skin, hair loss etc.... i work in cosmetics which will help me out with those problem areas but i have big cheeks and i am hoping they will go down in size lol... I dont know maybe i am over thinking it as well....but just let me know! I am getting this surgery done to help myself i have been big ALL my life and i have opted out of so many events because of how i was. Thank you! Vanessa
  8. Question is when is it appropriate to buy new clothes after vsg? Should I buy some before surgery to have when the weight does start to come off or just wait until I'm at a stable weight to get some clothes? Also, has anyone been able to eat spicy food? All of my food has to be spicy now so I wonder if that is going to have to change after my vsg. Sent from my SM-T377T using the BariatricPal App
  9. My doctor requires 2 week liquid diet for vertical sleeve. Just to shrink my liver. I think it depends on the patients current weight maybe Sent from my SM-T377T using the BariatricPal App
  10. Good evening I am about roughly 2 weeks away from vsg. I am going to be on a strict liquid diet from now until my surgery date. My question is what are good recommendations for this liquid diet other than premier Protein and chicken broth....literally that's all I have currently and on one YouTube video a girl made her chicken broth with chicken in it but shredded it and she said it was OK to eat the chicken as well. ANYTHING HELPS. ALSO drop Instagram names would love to see your progress! Mine is vanessa_wrotevsg Sent from my SM-T377T using the BariatricPal App
