Since corn is a starchy vegetable, I don't eat a lot of it. I certainly didn't try it at 5 weeks post-op. If it's allowed on your program then I suggest just trying it to see how it goes.

Corn is hard to digest so I would skip it all together for now. It won't make any difference in the soup. And this is coming from a corn lover!

5 weeks post op? I wasn't even on solid foods until 40 days post-op.... I was told no fibrous veggies for 3 months post-op. Besides corn is pretty high in carbs/sugar, so I probably would have stayed

I am 5 weeks out and I want to make some crock pot taco Soup that calls for white shoe peg corn. It calls for 2 cans but I plan to only use 1 can. Has anyone had difficulty eating corn at this stage?
