I just got sleeved yesterday and today when I coughed it was the worst cough ever. It hurted tremendously! Is this normal after the sleeve procedure?

Coughing, sneezing and hiccuping were the worst things ever for me right after surgery!

No I don't smoke but yes the coughing hurts on the left side

Had a sore troat for days after surgery. Much better now. Part of it is just the breathing tube I'm sure That and being unable to drink much. Should pass.

Your sore throat/cough could be from the scope that they put down your throat to breathe or it could be acid reflux... i too had a itchy scratchy throat for a few days... if it doesn't pass in a week contact your physician.

Ok cool I just got sleeved 8 22 16 and had to cough it was beyond painful, but now I'm learning to just clear my throat instead realized that doesn't hurt as bad
