One day post op. It's not "hard" to swallow. It's just every single Fluid burns my tummy and going down. Ugh! Is this normal!?

Never had any type of burning.

Never had gas pains, either.

Zero complications.

I had a similar sensation but got better every day. I'm post op day 10 now and things are much smoother!

I didn't have any burning or gas pains either. I couldn't drink regular filtered Water...just didn't agree with me but spring water or enhanced water (smart water) was/is fine.

I've never heard of the burning before, you might ask your surgeon about that...especially if it's all liquids causing it and not just one or two things. Probably minor but never hurts to ask and be safe!

I haven't had this issue, but in hearing from other people it sounds like varying temperature helped a lot. Some people have difficulty with hot or cold.

I'm 2 days post op and it hurts so much to drink! I feel it go all the down then move around for a minute... really painful
