I started my 2 week pre-op diet a few days ago. My program's pre-op diet isn't as strict as some I've seen on here, but it is mostly Protein drinks and is only about 700 to 800 calories a day.
I had been working out for 30 min most days prior to starting, but now my energy level has completely tanked. I don't want to use this as an excuse to skip the gym, but I also don't want to burn myself out. I still have so much to do in the next week and a half before surgery!
I'm worried about what my energy level is going to be like post-op. Of course eventually I'll at least be able to have some caffeine again.
Did you or are you working out on your pre-op diet? Are you exhausted?
