Mental preparedness class?

On a separate day from the pre-op diet class, I am scheduled for a "mental preparedness class".

Wasn't passing the 3-hour psychological evaluation evidence enough I'm mentally prepared?

Seriously, what else is there to talk about?

I've read each of the 5 books recommended twice.

Somehow I think I don't know what I don't know.

Do any of you know?

Three hour class? I remember mine only lasted for 30minutes and she just asked about my family's health and myself as a kid. Im not sure how more prepared you could be if you read five books!

Mine was 20 min of which mostly we talked about the psych's upcoming orthopaedic surgery. Lol. AND was charged $175.

I actually wish I could have a mental preparedness class. I'm sure it's geared for wls patients.

I am curious. What 5 books were recommended for you to read?
