I am 3 days out and sort of get the 'stuck' feeling at times, especially when I take medication. Usually if I walk around it helps, but sometimes it's so annoying.

It gets better. Just keep sipping.

I've tried with other drinks and the it's the same think. So I thinks it's just me drinking to fast or too much but I did notice however the other day I had to take a pill and I had a bottle of water in the car (mind u, I live in Florida) and I took a gulp of that and nothing. I didn't feel a thing and according to my car the heat index was of 105.

Ugh plain water is the worse! Unfortunately, I ended up dehydrated in the ED today and after two liters I'm definitely going to figure out a better way to keep hydrated. Maybe the vitamin water. Sigh....what a day!

Yes, my surgery was June 10 and I have a wave of nausea when I drink anything. But it passes as a continue to drink. I also don't like anything with flavor right now. So Water is all I can handle. I also noticed that I am excessively thirsty all the time.

Wow! That's crazy and kinda scary cause my dr also told me that I was dehydrated but I didn't have that dry young/mouth feeling nor pain in my extremities, they determined I was dehydrated cause of a very dark yellow urine and strong smell too. The nutritionist told me that I have to drink at least 7 bottles of water a day.

The nausea gets better ( in the sense of severity)and for me at least) as the days went by. They're still present just not as intense

Sure did. I used to love water. After surgery it made me gag for months. I am out almost two years now. I like it again but struggle to drink enough. It fills me up very quickly. I have to focus on constant tiny sips. It's still hard for me.
