I jumped through hoops, getting tests and documentation, met with a dietitian 6 times over 4 months, called Cigna only to find they notified my doctor's office last week I had been denied. Now waiting on them [emoji19]

Call your insurance company to see why and how can you go by appealing. So sad for you, I hope things get better.

Thanks for the support according to the coordinator in my docs office Cigna required 90 days of medically supervised nutritional counseling. I had 5 visits over 4 consecutive months. According to Cigna medical review, I did not meet the medically supervised diet requirements. I feel like I'm getting the run around, while I like my doctor, his office staff sucks, and you can never get them on the phone, they only communicate via email. Scheduling an appointment
