Everyones dietary plans seem to differ. I was not allowed eggs, however, I did get the OK for Egg Drop Soup. It definately hit the spot for me.

plans all vary. my plan did not allow eggs, however it did allow fish on soft foods. I asked to try eggs instead and they told me I could cautiously go ahead.

I was on purees after two weeks, but did scrambled eggs a few times. They where fine as long as I chewed very well.

My doc had me try eggs the second week and it was tough. It felt like I had swallowed a rock. However, just a few days later, it was fine. It all depends on how quickly you heal and when the swelling goes down.
