Your post op experience

Hi everyone,

I'm totally new to this page and i am 13 days post op VSI'm Im having some pain in my left upper abdomen, not up high where I imagine my stomach to be but slightly lower and to the side. Question is, do you think this is normal post op pain or something else? Anyone experienced it before?

    I had that same pain for at least a few days and then it went away. I'm just guessing that it was the sleeve healing on that side where the staples/sutures are. Hopefully it gets better for you soon

It is hard to say whether it is normal or not. I highly recommend you call your surgeon's office and talk to whoever is on call. They will know what questions to ask to determine whether or not it is something normal.

I'm 13 days post op ( June 1) and I think I have the exact same pain tonight!! Took some pain meds, feet up and gonna see how I am in the morning. But very curious now that I read this what it could be
