No pre-op diet required. How should I prepare?

Just because it's not required doesn't mean it's not worth doing on your own. Give it a try. Easy, simple and oh so much fun.

If you haven't already, start taking any required pre-op Vitamins. At least a Multivitamin. I found it really helpful to slowly wean myself off of carbonation and the caffeine. You really don't want

Surgery scheduled for 7/13. My doc doesn't require any pre op diet (only not to eat the night before). I'm worried this is going to make my first few days very hard because I will be so used to eating and my body will be shocked.
On the other hand, I keep thinking that I should enjoy this time and eat all the yummy food I can because very soon my entire life will change.
Opinions? Advice? Anyone?
