Ok...25 lbs in 3 weeks!!!! That is a crap load of weight!!! Of course you have stalled - your body is adjusting to all the changes. Keep doing what you're doing!

Hi there I am at the exact same point and have stopped losing too. I was worried it was me ? It seems so soon after surgery. I had a huge 7kg off first week by then only 1kg in week 2 and now nothing. Would love to know if your the same and what others have to say?

I'm 3 weeks almost 4 out from surgery and have hit a stall. I know it's common but how long will it last?

Who knows? A true stall can last several weeks. (Not losing for a few days is not really a stall.)

Just follow your program.

Focus on getting at least 64 oz of Fluid and ALL of your Protein.

Take your Vitamins and supplements as directed.

Exercise when cleared.

Stay off the scale.

And, Embrace the Stall

I'm 3 weeks post op tomorrow. I've lost 25 lbs so far but the scale hasn't changed in a week. Not sure if that truly constitutes a "stall" yet? I'm on soft/pureed foods now and I feel like the scale stopped moving with the transition from liquids. I'm just focusing on Protein and staying fully hydrated and getting exercise in as much as I can to get things moving again. I'm worried that many people lose the bulk of their weight loss in the first few months and yet nothing has adjusted in a week. I'm sure the transition from 4 weeks liquid (2 weeks pre/2 weeks post) a.k.a. "starvation mode" to real, albeit pureed foods is the cause but it's definitely an emotional dagger.
