too much soup for lunch?

I am exactly 2 months post op and I was just able to eat 8 0z of cream of broccoli Soup in 30 mins for lunch I do not feel stuffed but a little full.

Is that too much to be able to eat? I am so paranoid of stretching my sleeve.

liquids won't stretch your sleeve. I don't know why people believe this can happen, but an awful lot of folks do.

Liquids pass almost immediately down your sleeve and into your small intestine. No worries.

Can I suggest adding a protein (ie chicken etc) to your soup. It will make you full sooner and add the benefit of protein to your meal. I am 10 months out. When I eat any type of soup, I mix 2 oz of chicken with my 1/4 to 1/2 cup of soup (I need moist protein). It fills me right up.
