Ok so I'm 3 weeks out from my mini bypass. I have managed to lose 9 kg in the first 2 weeks, then stalled which I was expecting but now I've gained 1 kg which is baffling me!! My oral intake is no where near what I used to eat in the past and I am making sure that whatever I eat is either sugar free or low in carbs. I've had a very bad reaction to Protein shakes so my doctor advised me to stop all Protein Shakes and concentrate on my oral intake of Proteins. An example of what I eat in one day is:-
- 180 ml of low fat milk
- 1 egg
- 1/2 avocado
- 100g of puréed meat
- 1 tbsp of mushy peas
- 180 ml of low fat milk
- 1 banana
- 1 small cucumber
I mean I can understand the stalls and why they happen but gaining a kg is worrying to me at this stage..
