Not sure if I'm losing enough.

I had surgery on 3-23 and loss 24 lbs since the surgery. I've lost 36lbs total since the 2 week pre-op diet, and Tomorrow I go to see my doctor for the second time since surgery.

Am I on a good path here or am I not losing enough weight for the 7th week post op.

Anybody else on a similar path or any input?

Thanks!

This really is s conversation you need to have with your surgeon. You should be fine as long as you are following your program. Weight loss is such an individual thing and there are so many variable

  • Thanks , I agree. Just wondering...

No they didn't. They just advised on what to eat. He did say that he wanted me to drop 70lbs total but not in any particular timeframe.

Weight loss is such an individual thing and there are so many variables, I really can't predict what your surgeon expects.

Good luck.

Thanks. I plan to ask some questions tomw'

I was sleeved the 22nd of March, one day prior to you :) . As of today I have lost 35 pounds.

I agree with the other comments. Everyone is different.

My surgeon did not give me any monthly goals but also told me I had to loose 70 pounds (but no time frame).

Stay your course you are doing GREAT !!
