one incision hurts

I was sleeved 3/28 and today one of my incisions hurts way more than the others. I'm worried about it but it doesn't look any different than the other ones..

anyone experience this? is it something to be worried about?

One incision is the main incision. It is the one that sees "the most action" and is larger than the others.

It is expected and common that that one will be more uncomfortable.

Call your surgeon in the morning and let them ease your concerns.

In the meantime, get a good night's sleep.

Feel better.

The larger incision is also where they pull out the stomach part they cut out. They have to go through the muscle layers and there are layers of stitches (muscle layer, skin layer) and it definitely will look larger/different and hurt more.

I also had once incision that hurt more. It also itched more and annoyed me more for about a month. At the 6-week point you're pretty much entirely healed.
