Ok so what happens after the last visit? Do you wait to turn everything in then, does it take awhile for ins to approve? I know ins can take 30 days but do they? How does everyone get there dates before there done?

@@akaESKIMOkiss You're feeling a lot better today? I'm excited for you!

On Friday, UMR said they should have faxed an approval letter to my surgeon. Spoke with my surgeon's office this morning, and they NEED a mailed letter - so, i'm waiting to receive it or them to receive it. I'm hoping that my surgery date isn't months from now or anything.

Mine got me in very quickly after they received notification - as a matter of fact, they could have gotten me in the very next week but left me no time to prepare to leave work.

@@akaESKIMOkiss That gives me hope!

How's your pain? Any specific pointers?

The pain was not as bad as I thought it would be. I stayed overnight after surgery and was given morphine every 2 hrs. I switched over to hydrocodone before leaving the hospital and my pain level got better every day. I stopped the pain meds altogether 4 days out. I do still have soreness but the pain went to discomfort to soreness very quickly. You'll be fine!
