Ok so what happens after the last visit? Do you wait to turn everything in then, does it take awhile for ins to approve? I know ins can take 30 days but do they? How does everyone get there dates before there done?

@@Harsha What insurance do you have?

I have UMR/UHC, my surgeons office submitted Monday morning and I haven't heard anything. Called and left a message for my case manager at UHC today.

I have BCBS. I'm kind of bummed because I just called my surgeons office and they said my insurance won't count my first appointment with my surgeon as one of my visits, it's six visits with my general doctor :/ So that adds one more month on to me, making this my 5th visit tomorrow. :(

I've finished all my pre-ops, just waiting for my PCP to send my paperwork to the surgeon so they can submit. So much waiting and phone calls with no one calling back. Going on 3 weeks and counting..

I'm like you. Three weeks and no communication. Come on!!!

We have UMR so I'm not sure how "quick" they are to get things approved. I have everything turned in checked a cpl days ago now just a visit next week n last 1 in May n ready to go! I wish I could get a date early however I don't think the hospital I go to does that or the dr anyway. Thank you @@Momwith3minions

I had my 5th visit Friday and counting down the days until my last visit May 13th! Three weeks of waiting with no communication after jumping through all the hoops must be soooo frustrating. My only advice is to blow them up every day and be super annoying. Lol

After some confusion and the wrong fax number, all of my clinicals/information was submitted to insurance on Monday. I just got off the phone with UMR (I have UMR/UHC) and I was approved! I should be getting my date early next week from my surgeon.

I'm SO excited. :D
