5-days post op

I'm on the 5th day post op and I started feeling hungry? Is this right? I might not be getting enough liquids? What do you think?

Are you on Clear Liquids and for how long

It's likely 'head hunger'...

Your head telling your stomach that you're hungry rather than your stomach running the show...

If you're medically allowed, try chewing some ice...

It makes your head think that you've eaten because you're chewing...

Or, again, if you're medically allowed, chew a piece of gum for a few minutes and drink some Water...

The water fills you up and the chewing tricks the brain...

PLEASE - Only do these things if your medical team approves!!!!

Also...

Congratulations to all of you who are newly sleeved...

You've so much to look forward to!!!
