3 Days Post Op.....

Has been very challenging, mentally and physically draining! However I notice that each day it gets better.

Any pointers?

I'm keeping track of my Fluid intake, taking my Vitamins, using breathing thingy (forgot the name) LOL.

  • In my experience pain was only bad when I woke up in recovery but they quickly sedate you. I'm 5 days post op and in no pain at all.

I am 14 days out and suddenly today I am also having incision pain at my large incision next to my tummy button. I'm not sure why, but wondering if maybe I've been overdoing things.

At 7 days out, I was feeling so great that I decided to get a job at a local hair salon ( I'm a hairstylist). Anyway, I got the job and this week I have worked two 3 hour shifts and tomorrow and the next day I have to work 6 hours each day. I think I may have taken on too much, but I'd be embarrassed to quit.

Have you been overdoing it? Or maybe this is normal?

I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one whinger as though my tummy wasn't removed. I feel hungry after I eat . I'm on a liquid only diet , started my Protein shakes yesterday and nothing gets me full. I can tolerate anything but Water , some reason I can't drink water without getting sick . Is it hunger pains that's growling in my stomach or am I mistaking . And OMG if this bit itching doesn't stop. I itch so bad at my belly button. I known can't scratch it causes infection but it's killing me
