So I have been on the full liquid diet a week and a half. For one of my meals I have strained cream Soup (potato, tomato, mushroom, french onion). Let me just say, that rotation is getting pretty tired already.
Well, the other day I was at walmart and they have some Soups there that are a bit fancier than the canned ones - "sam's choice". I got the braised beef and mushroom soup... cooked it then poured it through the strainer.... OMG... best meal I have had since before surgery. It actually had some flavor! It wasn't too bad on the nutrients either. I had picked up a butternut squash soup but they put brown sugar in that one... so stay away.
Anyway, It made my day so I had to share incase my fellow new sleevers are having some soup fatigue
