Turkey Bacon...

Are we allowed to have turkey bacon? I thought I read somewhere we couldn't.

Once you are cleared for normal, solid food there's nothing you can't eat.

Once I was able to eat solid food - I did eat turkey bacon. One note.... my sleeve was not really fond of it until after a few months. The first time I ate bacon (turkey or pork) gave me lots of tummy noises. Now I eat them occasionally. However, watch out the first time.

I tried it once I was cleared for solid foods. I found I could only eat one piece as long as it was very crispy. If it wasn't crispy, it didn't sit well at all in my stomach. I eat it fairly often now and have no issues. I get the jenni-o low sodium brand.
