Hello everyone,
I just registered here because I need help. I'm two weeks post-op (February 16). I cannot eat. The first two weeks were a massive struggle to get Protein in. I could not swallow liquid Protein, they are gave me nausea, so I ate vegetable Soup (blended of course) and drank Water. Monday this week, I had the staples removed and pretty much go called an idiot by the nurse (she was not wrong). So I moved on to the pureed foods, the first thing I tried was Greek yogurt never had before but I have trouble going through the portion, it can take me up to 40 minutes. I am not hungry at all. The only thing I can eat again in about 40 minutes is my two scrambled eggs with cheese and apple sauce. Has anybody else felt this way? On Monday I had actually gained 4 pounds because according to the nurse my body was going into starvation mode..... I'm seriously freaking out.
Thanks for any help or advice!
