Depo Provera Shot and Surgery

Did anyone have to stop their birth control shot before they got the VSG? I heard it was just oral contraception. I have surgery on Monday

    UPDATE: talked with my doctor. Depo provera is fine to take when you have your surgery since it's progesterone. Oral contraception causes blood clots

    I'm also on depo and yep, it's only the oral contraceptives you have to worry about.
