My surgery is on Tuesday and it's been so hard . I have two protein shakes and a small meal a day and drink lots of water I cannot honestly just drink clear liquids for 2 whole weeks that seems un real and like if your working how the hell do you keep your energy up with just clear liquids !!!! I only have lost about 4 pounds this week but it is what it is

Am having a hard time am a teacher so I need to have some strength to get through and it's hard Am doing shakes and one small meal during lunch I gotta eat something ! As much as I want to do all liquid it's hard

I am getting sleeves on 3/1 I didn't loose any but I also didn't gain during my 4 month process !! The damage came in December for the holidays I gained 7 pounds so before 2/25 when I see my doc I have to loose those 7 pounds am already 5 down but the thing is not to gain and try your hardest to loose some

Yup I agree I did the same !! I told them I needed PTO and I had to take care of my health issues that I have been putting on the back burner for some time . I told them you've seen me going to the doc once a month ( for weigh ins lol ) so now it's time to take care of me , sorry but I need this time .. BTW- in my job only 3 people can be out per week like approved vacation that's why I told them

Tomm I start my liquid diet ...???? I have been good through this process but like !!!! Today am a mess I am feeling like am saying good bye to all the foods I love to eat !!! Idk am I the only one that have these feelings !

Wooooo hooooooo am happy for you !!! I been so nervous after I got my date it got worse lol !!! I have like 3 pimples and I just been freaking out a lil !!! I have lost about 7 pounds now so that's exciting !!!

How about you...... I guess I would not guess I would def be telling him to F off and tell him how good am going to feel and how much confidence am going to have with this tool . And how excited I am to feel good when I look at my self in the mirror !!! girl !!! Don't let this weigh you down you have worked hard for this surgery don't allow him to do that to you ! pS - my F offs are really loud so that people get the point so you are more than welcome to use it

My initial date was 2/2/16 my insurance took too long to approve so they changed it to 2/26 then the doc said he couldn't that day so thy changed it to 3/1/2016. Excited and ready right !!! nOT I have to go and do all the testing all over again - ekg - blood work - upper chest X-ray - and get the clearance again Uhhh that frustrated me ! But I came this far just gotta do it again Sorry for venting ! ????

Why don't you look up bariatic clinic in your state or docs and just go there for your consultation and everything else You will only need this doc for your pcp letters of support and like your clearances !!! Pills ??? Not cool

Yup ! The doc office gives them a tentative date for surgery mines was 2/2/16 that freaked me out ! So once it was approved the lady called me and told me what days were available ! So once I picked the date she told me I have to go back to my pcp get cleared again ! Blood work etc.. Cux that's only valid for 3o days ! I got mine on 1/7/2016 so it will expire on 2/7 !! But am excited Call Aetna member services they give you the number to the approval dept

I waited for like 10 days that's how long it took I think I called Aetna about 50 million times !!! So all those days I kept like walking back and forth to my kitchen I guess I was thinking like omg am never gonna have this again !!!???????????????? horrible I gained 7 pounds literally ! Then when they called me that I was approved I got all crazy cuz I knew I gained weight so until I don't loose this weight I don't wanna see the doc for the final visit ! My date for surgery is 3/1/16 Ps: when I called Aetna the operator kept saying this is the surgery for 2/2/16 That threw me off like wait a min that's around the corner lady !!!????????????yikeeeesss

Omg while I was waiting for my approval I swear I gained like 5 pounds so just walk away from the food !!! Lol !

That's how I feel . Coffee is my life every morning never fails and to stop it it's gonna b hard but I got to do it

Got my date from Dr.Yatco's office am so excited but since the holidays I've gained like 9 pounds so the first thing they said was have you gained weight I said no but I know I did . So I started eating healthier again today lol ???? so I can get down to the 238 I had when I last saw the nutritionist Sharon . I hope I loose it I don't want to get denied over 9 pounds !!!!

Anyone have Aetna in NYC , how long it takes for approval ? I been waiting for a week and a half

I have Aetna am in NYC it's been a week and a half and I still haven't heard from them ! Am a lil worried maybe it's just a nyc delay am not sure am just worried
