I am nowhere near ready to date or for a relationship, but I have caught a few episodes of TLC's LOVE AT FIRST SWIPE. They "make over" some hapless person's dating profile, give them a style makeover, etc.

Besides the fact that they seem to have total train wreck's as "clients", they have offered some very good advice for presenting yourself well on online dating sites.

Has anyone watched this? Thoughts? Opinions?

I don't know. I usually DVR it on Friday after SAY YES TO THE DRESS, ATLANTA. and LOVE, LUST OR RUN, that really has some doozies. Both LOVE, LUST OR RUN and LOVE AT FIRST SWIPE seem to wind up with people with some pretty extreme self esteem issues.

I was thinking the same thing!!! Then you meet them for coffee and the trainwreck shows up....

Some of the advice is related to the fact that when their profile says "I am cheap and easy." and their profile picture makes them look like street-walkers, they seem to be completely shocked that only creeps show any interest.

I really want to see the advice they give this girl with the huge boobs. She looks like the club turn up queen, but she wants to be married. Girl, okay. I want to see how they fix her up.

I have not seen it, but I will say that I met my husband online. back in the dark ages. Neither of us was looking for someone, it was just a common interest chat room. :-) he was pretty much in love with me before he ever even saw my picture - but I had been thrown in the garbage by my first husband so I took a little more convincing.
